Full Journal pdf1995-03-01 House Journal Page 0525 HJR 26 The House Special Committee on Oil and Gas has considered: HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 26 Urging the United States Congress to uphold Alaska's right to 90 percent of the royalties from oil, gas, and coal leasing on state land as provided by the Statehood Compact adopted by a vote of the people of Alaska on April 24, 1956. and recommends it be replaced with: CS FOR HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 26(O&G) Urging the United States Congress to uphold Alaska's right to 90 percent of the royalties from oil, gas, and coal leasing on state land as provided by the Alaska Statehood Act, approved by the United States Congress on July 7, 1958, in which the Congress accepted, ratified, and confirmed the Constitution of the State of Alaska previously adopted by a vote of the people of Alaska on April 24, 1956.
